can you believe it's already august 21st?

i mean, the oregon state fair starts next weekend!

and that officially marks the end of summer time for me.

i'm beginning to see certain trees

starting to change their colors

indicating that fall and all her glory

is just right around the corner.

and although i'm saddened by the end of summer,

i am also excited for fall.

well today

it is supposed to be a high of 79,

but will all the cloud cover

it is only 67 right now.

and it feels so nice.

perfect napping weather.

which is exactly what the boys need.

(or maybe what i need)

my very independent monkey

took this picture all by himself

while we were at chuck e cheese.

and he was very proud when he brought it back to us.

and it always me smile when i see it.
