our unpleasant heat wave has finally subsided
unfortunately it left a few scars.
my tomato plants were most affected
leaving some pretty crunchy leaves.
but on the bright side
the heat started ripening the 'maters.
this is my first harvest
and i foresee many more.
on the kid-front
my boys have started asking to build a snowman.
when i explained that it wasn't winter-time yet
and that it is still summer,
they immediately grabbed winter clothing,
gloves, scarves and hats
and tried to convince me
since they are wearing winter clothes,
it must be winter
and we should try to find some snow.
if only kid-logic worked.
