a rainy afternoon today
gave me a glimpse of what's to come.
our summer is slowly, but surely
winding down.
and pretty soon
creative indoor activities will fill up our days.
play-doh, painting
and walking around at the mall
will replace
berry picking, side-walk chalk
and playgrounds.
