puppy love

dear santa,

i've been a very good little boy this year.

i've given up my pacifier.

i just moved into a big boy bed

and only cried a little bit when

i had to say good-bye to my crib.

i eat most of my meals.

i try very hard not to hit my brother,

but sometimes it's hard

because he hits me first.

and i'm working on my tantrums.

overall, i've been pretty good.

and i really, really love puppies.

like this one from the pumpkin patch.

she was so fun.

i think she liked me too,

but she was trying hard not to show it.

she let me pet her.

and she kissed my hand.

so i brought her a stick.

she's my best friend.

if only i could've taken her home.

so you see, santa?

i've been a good boy.

can i please have a puppy for christmas?
