it was only fitting that today's post is about beginnings.
first...about me.
i walked my first 10k
over the great columbia river
on the beautiful astoria bridge.
this was my first walk
and will not be my last.
this is my only picture of it.
can you believe that?
okay, my camera died.
but at least it's a pretty good picture.
gorgeous day. beautiful clear, cold skies.
had an absolutely wonderful time.
cannot wait to do it again.
and secondly,
today is the first day
of the rest of our
thankfully and gratefully employed lives.
we're proud of you daddy!

so proud of ALL of you! Tough times and you guys hung in there with grace! Congrats to you for the first race! It won't be the last! :) and Congrats to Mr. Potter for his determination and hardwork...It paid off!!! so happy for all of you!
