i used to think this was silly. of course today is the first day of the rest of my life. of course it is. this was also true yesterday. and god willing will be true for tomorrow. such a silly little saying.

but not today. because today i am officially a sahm. what's a sahm? i'm glad you asked. it's my new title. for my new full-time profession. i am not the first to hold this title. and i won't be the last. i am taking it on full time now. the hours are long. the pay is...well, we'll find out. but i've heard that it is well worth it. the duties are endless, diverse and i'm sure will keep me on my toes. but i look forward to this ever-so-welcomed change of pace. i'm confident that i will soon master the art of pb&j. i will kiss all owies and hug whenever needed. i will wipe away all tears. and snot. and love with you with all my heart. for today i am your full time stay at home mom. your sahm.
