Picnic Fun

i wonder if you'll both remember how much fun you had today. if you'll remember this day when you're both adults. if today will be one that will stand out in your minds as a great day. because it really was.

today was daddy's company picnic. the weather was nice. the food was yummy. and you boys we're ready for some fun. first up was the bouncy house. strangely, Mucus just sat in one place while Monkey Boy jumped around and tried to make new friends.

then it was off to the playground where Mucus was once again feeling fearless. oblivious. adventurous. clueless. adorable.

next up...time for a sweet treat. messy and delicious.

so happy...chocolate fudgesicle. what more could a little boy ask for.


i don't know when it happened. when you both stopped being just our babies. but our little boys. with your own unique personalities. your feelings. your demands. your own way of doing just what it is that makes you both giggle. and makes us laugh out loud. makes us smile.
