dear santa,
i've been a very good mommy this year.
my room is always clean.
i always eat all my vegetables.
i keep up with the laundry,
the dishes
and the vacuuming.
i go to bed with little or no protest most nights.
i brush my teeth.
i comb my hair.
and try not to watch too much tv.
and this year,
i only want one thing.
for you to mail back this letter
from my cute little monkey
who wrote, stamped and mailed
all by himself.
because there are some things
that i just want to keep for myself.
