wise words

a wise mommy recently reminded me of something.

when our boys are all grown up, they are not going to remember
how clean (or dirty) our house was
or how much laundry always needed to be done.
hopefully, they remember all the fun things we do together.
playing, laughing, exploring and having fun.

so,
as a new season begins
as we welcome spring,
i'd like to try to remember this.
to remember to have fun first and always
for this is what childhood memories are made of.
