a busy one

so yesterday

a friend calls me up

and asks if i wanted some plums.

yes. yes. yes.

i love these little italian plums.

i want some.

we went over

and started picking.

and picking. and picking.

not until today,

did i realize just how much i came home with.

the first thing i made is this yummy tart

from barefoot contessa.

can't go wrong with her stuff.

yummy. yummers.

yum.

i think i'm gonna have to make about 100 of these tarts

to use up all those plums.

i did make a batch of jam too!
