busy daddy

dear daddy,

thank you very much for making us this wonderful sandbox. 

we both really like it.

we like to put our toes in the sand

and pretend we are at the  beach.

we like to throw sand at each other

and laugh.

and then cry when it gets in our eyes.

we like to pretend it is shampoo 

and 'wash' our hair.

we pretend it's ice cream

and feed it to each other.

but most of all 

we like it 

because it's ours

and you made it for us.
