baby girl

when i was a little girl, one of my favorite things was my cabbage patch doll. 

my mom had given me a sweet baby girl with orange yarn hair. i absolutely adored her. 

i have many memories of her. and the one i remember the most is when i came home from school one day and she wasn't in my room. i looked everywhere for her. in the living room, the kitchen, the garage. and then i saw her. or bits of her. there was stuffing and orange yarn all over the deck in our backyard. and i just cried. 

you see, my lovely sisters decided to play with her and left her in the backyard. with arthur, our dog. all alone. to fend for herself. she had no chance. she was shredded to bits. and i was devastated. 

i still haven't gotten over it (obviously). and i make sure that my sisters don't ever forget that day either. 

so the other day i was on ebay and i found her! well her twin. 

and she was literally just one town over. 

so i placed a bid, won and on saturday i brought her home to meet her brothers. 

monkey welcomed her with big hugs. 

like a caveman, mucus dragged her around by her precious orange hair. 

i can already tell who's going to be the smooth one with the ladies...
